31 Weeks, 1 Day!
 

Total weight gain? 

  22.8 lbs

Baby Information?
Heart rate was 150 at my appointment today.  That's all I know!  I'll most likely be going for an ultrasound soon, so maybe I'll learn more about this little girl!

Any doctor news?

Blood pressure is 104/60 today, and was 120/60 yesterday at the cardiologist (nervous, much?)  I had Mitral Valve Prolapse when I was pregnant with Lucas, so I had to go to the cardiologist for a follow up.  He heard the regurgitation and wants to see me again next month.  He wasn't concerned because it went away shortly after I had Lucas.
I went for my baby check-up today. He talked to me about the fact that my placenta has an accessory lobe (gosh, I hope it has matching shoes!).  I was a little annoyed that I had the ultrasound in January, and this is the first I'm hearing about it, but at least I know about it now. Basically, that means that my placenta is in two places, connected by a blood vessel.  So, if I go into labor and deliver, they just have to make sure they get it all after I have the baby.  They will be monitoring be closely through ultrasounds to watch that, the size of the baby, and my amniotic fluid levels since Lucas was BIG and my fluid level was really low right before I had him.  I go again in three weeks for another check, and they'll decide when they want to start the ultrasounds.

Best moment ?

I'm on Spring Break this week.  We've gotten a lot of furniture moved, but the baby has no sheets yet, or anything else decorative, which is starting to bother me... but we still have 8 weeks, right?

Worst moment ?

I'm grumpy.  I'm snappy.  

Stretch Marks?
Still no.  Lots of lotion!

Maternity clothes
Yup.  I really wish my daily outfit for school could be pajamas.

Symptoms
 Nothing different, really.  Heartburn.  Have to use the bathroom a lot.  Minor nosebleeds.  All the fun stuff that comes along with 3rd trimester!

Cravings
Grapes.  Water.  I seriously can't drink enough lately!
 
 Gender? 

As far as I know, she is still a girl!  I'm sure as I get farther along, they will want to do more ultrasounds to make sure she isn't going to be as big as Lucas!  

Sleep?
It comes and goes.  I'm on an every other night cycle with halfway decent sleep.  
 

What I miss?

Seeing my toes.  
 

What I'm looking forward to?

Maternity leave... (8 more weeks) LOL!  School has been very stressful with a couple of my little friends. 

29 Weeks!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!  I can't believe I only have 11 weeks left... give or take... hopefully a week or two early as opposed to a week late!

29 weeks, 4 Days!

 I think if it were possible for her to be born wearing silly things on her head, she would... Ha ha! She already will have a hat and a headband upon her arrival :)

Baby Information?
Heart rate was 145 at my appointment on Thursday.  She has been very busy since we've been through 2 glucose tests in the last two weeks!

Any doctor news?

Blood pressure is 102/60.  I failed my 1st Glucose Tolerance Test by 10 points, so I had to go for the 3-hour test on Thursday.  Thankfully, when I called the nurse Friday, that came back normal!  I just have to go in 4 weeks to have my B12, iron, and folate levels checked again.  She also said my white blood cell count was a little elevated, but when I told her that I had a sore throat and was getting over a stomach bug, she said that was why it was a little higher than normal!

Best moment ?

Finding out I passed the 3-hour test.  What a load off of my mind!

Worst moment ?

Family illness is happening on both sides of my family.  It is hard being down here when things like this happen.

Stretch Marks?
Still no.  Lots of lotion!

Obviously.  Except for this shirt, which I was determined to squeeze myself into for St. Patrick's Day!  Notice the extra long maternity tank top underneath... hee hee!

Sleep?
This time change is KILLING me.  Lucas' sleep clock is all screwy, mine is all screwy.  I lay awake until at least 11 every night lately.  I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with it this year!  Lucas goes to bed each night arguing, "Mommy, its not nap time yet... the sun is still up!"  Ahh, the joys of living in Florida during Daylight Savings Time.  Wait til summer comes and the sun is still up at 8:30!
 

What I miss?

Being able to scoop up Lucas whenever I want to.  He weighs 30 lbs.  It just isn't happening these days.  So, we spend lots of time cuddling on the couch.
 

What I'm looking forward to?

Getting the house organized.  Scott's mom and her friend helped us by emptying out the two guest room closets.  Now I just have to go through everything they took out!  
We have the paint color all set.  It is called Wisteria.  Once Scott remembered that purple was Elvis' favorite color, selling him on a purple girl room was easy... ;-)  
I also registered at Target.  Even though we are only having a shower at school, I kind of wanted to make a list of what I had to get so that we aren't running around like crazy people the week before she arrives!
