So, this is my first crack at an actual blog. We'll see how it goes and how long I can keep up with it. I'll use it to update family and friends about the goings on here in Florida... and mostly about Lucas!
Lucas is crawling. I'm definitely not ready for him to be mobile. He went from being able to crawl 3 feet one day, to crawling clear across the house 2 days later! He follows Scott and I EVERYWHERE. I suppose that is better than him running away from us. I'm sure that will come later!
It is amazing. There are so many time when I look at him and think "Wow... he is doing everything he is supposed to, right around when he is supposed to, and everything is in the right place and growing at the right pace!" I've been around lots of babies and seen them grow up, but this is different. Lucas is literally growing up right before my eyes!
Each time he does something new, I'm overcome with joy, but then become a little sad because I know he won't be this little forever.
